In the scenes of the Film “Blood of My Blood” by italian director Marco Bellocchio, presented at the 72nd Venice film festival, appear the Arteferro wrought iron products.
The Arteferro semi-finished ornamental products in wrought iron appear in the scenes of the film by the Italian Marco Bellocchio, “Blood of My Blood”, presented in September at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival and currently showing in cinemas.
The whole film is shot in Bobbio, a small medieval town in the province of Piacenza in Emilia-Romagna; and it is set in two different periods: the seventeenth century and in these days. In the Seventeenth century in Bobbio, the protagonists move in the background of a convent, a prison and a noble house. The director of the set, with a careful selection of the all essential elements for a correct historical reconstruction, has chosen Arteferro as a supplier of wrought iron components such as bolts, nails, grilles, hinges and hinges for windows, door handles, latches and other ornamental elements.
The Arteferro products have already appeared at the cinema in 1995 in “007 GoldenEye” with Pierce Brosnan and directed by Martin Campbell.
The film is produced by Kavac Film in co-production with IBC Movie and Rai Cinema. In the cast, in addition to his son Pier Giorgio Bellocchio, there are Roberto Herlitzka, Alba Rohrwacher and the Ukrainian actress Lidiya Liberman. Recognised of National Cultural Interest and realised with the contribution of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Department of Performing Arts, the film also won the FIPRESCI Prize (International Federation of Film Critics) of International Critics.
