Malo, 26th November 2014 – A group of institutional authorities from Veneto Region and Croatia, including the Croatian Ambassador for Italy Prof. Damir Grubisa, have visited the seat of the company Ind.I.A. Spa of Malo-Italy. The meeting took place at the end of the workshop “Croatia – Partner Country for Veneto”, with the collaboration between Veneto Region and Confindustria of Vicenza, and begun in the morning at the hotel NH Laguna Palace of Mestre.
Italy is the first commercial partner of Croatia and Ind.I.A. Spa has been selected by the Veneto Region to be visited because, among its 24 subsidiaries in the world, Arteferro Dohomont d.o.o. is the productive firm in Gorican, in the North-Eastern side of Croatia, employing nearly 300 people, launching pad for the markets of the Balkans. Thanks to its steady growth it is very esteemed locally.
It is the biggest production site of stainless steel in Croatia and one of the biggest in Europe concerning the metal working for the building and architecture industry.
“We are very glad of the investment” declares Ind.I.A. Spa’s president Arch. Bruno Gonzato, “since the beginning of the 90s the mutual collaboration has been granting an integration between the parties with more and more interesting results”.
The Croatian delegation arrived in Malo in the afternoon and met with the managers of the venetian company. Arch. Gonzato brought them around to visit the buildings, the production sites of the company and the high-technologic machinery and finally showed the guests his private collection of over 200 bronze, wood, china and glass statues reproducing blacksmiths with hammer and anvil.
The meeting has continued with the presentation of the Gonzato Group and of the most prestigious building yards: the restoration of the Colosseum and of the Ludus Magnus in Rome, the supply of gates and grilles for some private residences in Nigeria and in Israel and for a residential complex in Belarus.
Attending this meeting were also Dr. Mauro Stefani of the International Relationship Bureau of the Veneto Region and Dr. Ivan Raffaele Retis of the Internationalization Area of Confindustria Vicenza. The guests have expressed their satisfaction for the high -level specialization and of the efficiency noticed in the company
